Why is it important to update my email id?
- We always suggest that you keep your email ids updated in Batchmates so that emails by your friends trying to contact you would not be diverted to an invalid email id.
- Not to mention you stand to lose out on being found- do remember the whole purpose of Batchmates.com is to reunite you with your long lost buddies.
How do I update my old email id with a new one?
- Login using the lost access email id & password.
- Click on "Edit Profile" link in your home page.
- Click on the "Update Email".
- Provide the necessary details.
- Click on the "Submit" button to affect the changes.
- A confirmation key will be emailed to you shortly thereafter verifying your request of changed email. Kindly comply with the instruction in this email.
- This becomes your new login email id.

How do I update my old alternate email id with a new one?
- Click on "Edit Profile" link in your home page.
- Provide the new alternate emailid in the space provided.
- Click on the "Submit" button to affect the change.
I do not have access to the email id registered on Batchmates but I do remember my password- can I still login?
Yes you can! Go through the following steps and update your email id with the current one.
- Login using the email id (the one which you do not have access to) & password.
- Click on "Edit Profile" link in your home page.
- Click on "Update Email".
- Enter the current email id in the blank field provided against New Email.
- Retype it again in the blank field provided against Confirm Email.
- Type your password.
- Click on the "Submit" button to affect the change.
- A confirmation key will be emailed to you shortly thereafter verifying your request of changed email. Kindly comply with the instruction in this email.
- This becomes your new login email id.
I've forgotten my password- how do I retrieve it?
Click "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page and send us the following information as registered in Batchmates.
- Email id
- First Name
- Middle Name
- Last Name
- Maiden Name
- Nick Name
- Date of Birth
- Residence Address
- Phone No
- Institutions Registered (with complete address)
- Year of Joining Institute
- Year of Leaving Institute
- Year Registered in Batchmates
