Where can I edit my profile details?
- Login to Batchmates.com using your Email/ Unique Id and password.
- Click on the “My Profile” tab on the top.
- All your profile details will be visible to you in editable mode.
- You can change/update your personal details like name, nickname, date of birth from here. You can also update the contact details like address, phone number(s) and alternate email id. Your private profile details like relationship status, level of education etc. can also be updated from this page.
How do I change the email id I am registered with?
- Login to Batchmates.com using your Email/ Unique Id and password.
- Click on the “My Profile” tab on the top.
- Scroll down to Account Details section.
- Click on the Update Email link against your current Email id (with which you are registered in Batchmates).
- Key in the new Email in both ‘New Email’ and ‘Confirm your Email’ boxes.
- Click on Update.
- A notification mail along with a confirmation key number shall be sent to your new email address. You’ll need to confirm the new email either by clicking on the link provided in the email, or entering the confirmation key in any confirmation asking page in the site.
How do I view my profile as others see it?
- Login to Batchmates.com using your Email/ Unique Id and password.
- Click on the “My Profile” tab on the top.
- Click on the View profile tab under the My Profile heading.
- You will be in your public profile page.
What is a biography? How can I post one to my profile?
Biography is the detail about your life, education or work. It is in a word description of you in your own words.
- Login to Batchmates.com using your Email/ Unique Id and password.
- Click on the “My Profile” tab on the top.
- Scroll down to ‘My Biography’ section.
- You can fill in details in subsections like Life, School/ College, Workplaces etc. and click on Submit.
- Your biography will be visible in the site after an authorization by the administrators.
What is announcement? How do I post one to my profile?
You can announce an occasion into your profile through this feature.
- Login to Batchmates.com using your Email/ Unique Id and password.
- Click on the “My Profile” tab on the top.
- Scroll down to ‘My Announcements’ section.
- You can select the occasion type and then put the message title and message description. You can also upload a picture for your announcement.
- Your announcement will be visible in the site after an authorization by the administrators.
How do I write testimony for a person?
Please remember, you can write/receive testimonies to/from those people who are in your network. Visit the profile of your friend and click on the “Write Testimony” link below the person’s profile picture. In the landing page, put in whatever you have to say about your friend and click Submit. Once your friend accepts the testimony written by you, the same will be displayed in his/her public profile.
I want to delete a testimony I had written previously for a person. How do I do it?
- Login to Batchmates.com using your Email/ Unique Id and password.
- Click on the “My Profile” tab on the top.
- Click on the Testimonies link in the submenu section of the page. You get to see all the testimonies written by you. You can delete testimonies from here.
How do I delete my profile?
- Login to Batchmates.com using your Email/Unique Id and password.
- Click on “My Profile” tab on the top.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will find a link to delete your registration.
- Clicking on the link will delete your Batchmates registration.
- Once your profile is deleted, it is not possible to retrieve any other detail you have provided in the site. So we recommend you to be sure before deleting.
